Location
The project will take place in Dahé and Agbodji Schools (Benin) and in Bogou and Dampiong Schools (Togo).
Context
Out of the four schools involved in this project, only two have functioning toilets. The two schools in Benin have four toilets each, but these are shared between 624 children in Dahé and 894 children in Agbodji. The situation is not better in Togo; the school in Bogou has no toilets, while the one in Dampiong is extremely unsanitary. Added to this, none of the schools have access to freshwater and during the rainy season, the water flows in powerful torrents, causing extensive damage.
