Rainwater Harvesting in Bangladesh

Rainwater has been harvested in Bangladesh from time immemorial.
Traditional rainwater collection was very simple and was usually done
by tying an old saree or a sheet to four posts in the yard and
collecting the water in a traditional earthenware pot, a Motka.
