World Water Day

Friday 22nd March was World Water Day, and we took the opportunity to raise public awareness on the uses and benefits of rainwater harvesting

To celebrate, we organised rainwater harvesting awareness raising activities in schools in India and Nepal. The children not only learnt about water, rainwater harvesting and the Blue Schools Programme, but also had some fun in the “Catch the Rain” art competition!

We would like to thank our local partners, Deepalaya and Project AROEHAN in India and Kanchan Nepal in Nepal, for all their hard work and organisation of these activities. We are also very grateful to Faber Castell India who provided all the painting materials and prizes to the 15 schools in India.
